The ALTO US Operations Team is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to help contribute/lead to the growth and expansion of the Operations Team. This role will deliver highly visible business impact to our internal IT Analytics and Research Department and included but not limited to areas such as Finance, Human Resources, and other areas as ALTO US grows. This is a role where you can both excel and grow in your role, support, lead others within your department, and be a contributor to the ALTO organization for its’ future success in all Markets ALTO serves.

The ALTO US Operations Team is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to help contribute/lead to the growth and expansion of the Operations Team in the Midwest/Chicago area. This role will deliver highly visible business impact to our internal IT Analytics and Research Department, and included but not limited to areas such as Finance, Human Resources, and other areas as ALTO US grows. This is a role where you can both excel and grow in your role, support, lead others within your department, and be a contributor to the ALTO organization for its’ future success in all Markets ALTO serves.

Overview of Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manages all operations including but not limited to the Regional Manager(s), CSS(s), Staff Attorney(s) and oversees the implementation and ongoing successful execution of the ALTO Alliance program while monitoring and analyzing data and reporting in the assigned region/market.
  • Develops relationships with regional level retail partners to achieve goals and objectives identified by the client and the ALTO Corporate Team, through various client office and store visits, local and regional law enforcement interactions and events, and local and regional community leaders/affiliates partnerships.
  • Works collaboratively with the COO, Business Development, Legal, IT, and ALTO colleagues to plan, develop, and deploy projects that respond to the evolving needs of clients.
  • Coordinate internal projects and determine the best utilization of resources to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Supports revenue growth by inspiring clients to utilize ALTO’s expertise in other areas or other additional services.
  • Provide ALTO Alliance training to client office and store personnel as needed.
  • Partner with ALTO IT and Legal departments to develop ALTO Alliance product that meets client and regulatory standards.
  • Recruit, leads, and develop ALTO local team members to assist them in the successful execution of their responsibilities.
  • Assist, as needed, in the sales of ALTO Retail solutions and other ALTO solution lines.
  • Supports peers and other Markets as needed, at all levels with a Teamwork work ethic.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience in retail Loss Prevention or Operational position, 3+ years’ experience leading and motivating a team.
  • Bachelor´s degree, preferably business related.
  • Experience leading and managing people, projects, and process.
  • Must have a dynamic, high energy personality and passion to serve clients that creates a positive impact.
  • Must be able to prioritize and accomplish objectives in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment.
  • Strong computer skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • License: Valid (State/Market) Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to perform job-related essential functions.
